What he sees delights him.
The river beolw is covered in ice,
The Full Moon shines in the sky
illuminating the land and the river's
frozen surface.
Once again he is reminded of why he is here:
the sacredness of the land,
expecting the returned of his beloved to their home,
hearing the Earth sing,
joined by a chorus of trees and stones,
seeing a stone glow in greeting,
feeling the love of the land flowing to him,
listening to the laughter in the wind.
Walking back to the house,
ground crackling with frost underfoot,
He smiles as he notes his blessings
for joy,
for wholeness,
for healing,
for love.
